Best case I've ever bought

Gear first: Gigabyte Aorus Elite X570 MB Ryzen 3700XSapphire Pulse Radeon 5700XT GPUTeamgroup Dark Za 32GB 3200Mtakehz Premium RAM3 Thermal QL120 (side) Riing (top and bottom)1 Shuten high! I originally chose the Fractal Meshify-C White case. It was a good case, but it had a few flaws that made me realize that since I'm building a quality gaming PC, why stop? Several things made me want to buy a better case: There wasn't enough space behind the motherboard. for all the cables and controller for the fans, and I got tired of having to physically crush the left panel to close it. The front board was built into the front panel, so every time I wanted to open it I had to be careful not to put too much pressure on the connection cables going to the motherboard; And finally, to have 3 intake fans on the front of this case, you had to remove a panel on the fairing, leaving an ugly gaping hole exposing any wiring you want to hide. I originally modified the panel and used an angle grinder to make a cutout to make room for a third fan, but the cut was very uneven and I had to use the automotive sealant I had to to smooth out the jagged edges hide. So I started looking for the best option. Enter Lian Li O11 Dynamic XL. I've never bought a case this expensive before, so I read and looked at all the reviews I could find about it. I was fed up with the compromises companies made in the $75-$100 price range, and the O11 XL seemed like just what I was looking for, so I pulled the trigger. The package arrived on time, no visible damage. The case itself was in perfect condition, there were no dents or scratches on the glass. First Impression: This case is FUCKING SWEET! I finally have a case that fits and looks great! I like the glass on the front and sides and the brushed aluminum on the front. Everything in this case is of very high quality. All panels are perfectly matched, no annoying gaps. The LED strip also looks great, very bright and colorful with smooth transitions to RGB patterns. I like that there are M/C buttons on the front for changing modes and colors. When you switch to 8th mode (LEDs are off) it syncs to my MB via Gigabyte's RGB Fusion software. This case is big which I like. There is so much room to work here and I have many options for future updates and additions. I really like hot swap bays. I took one for cable management and the other for my 2TB SSHD. In this case, there are MANY options. There are so many mounting points for drives and SSDs that it's ridiculous. I use an air-cooled design and this case is great for that. Some reviewers recommend the original O11 Dynamic for air-cooled builds, but the CPU tower cooler clearance is a bit tight for that. I ordered it first and then checked the release specs on Lian Li's website and found that my Pccooler GI-D66A is too big. The XL is perfect for this cooler, it fits within a few millimeters. I also wanted a 120mm rear exhaust fan and the XL is the only model that has room for one. The craftsmanship of the case is at the top. I am really impressed. You really do get what you pay for and I'm glad I spent the extra money to get a case worthy of my construction. Installing the O11 XL was a good experience. The size of the case made assembly easy and nothing was too tight. For example, with Meshify-C I had to use needle nose pliers to insert the CPU power cable into the MB since I didn't have room to put my hand between the connector and the top of the case. With the O11 XL, I had more than enough room to put my hand on it. With all the fans, controllers, etc. I have tons of cables. The cable management is excellent in this case, the wiring is perfect to hide all the cables behind the MB. I also like the cable cover panel on the back, it helps hide the madness lol. The holes in the front are well spaced with nice rubber grommets that allow me the cleanest build possible. The versatility of this case is a big plus. I was able to move the PSU to the middle, remove one of the hot-swap bays and use the top one for the hard drive, freeing up space below for the fan controllers and PWM hubs. Placing and mounting all of my 10 fan trays was easy, I really like that the SSD trays can be removed with another disk to hide the gap when using 3 x 120mm fans on the side. I also like the 3 fan cassettes on the bottom, this made it easy to install those 3 intake fans. I currently have 3 side and bottom fans as intakes and 3 top and one rear as exhaust to build light positive pressure airflow. I am slowly transitioning to all Corsair QL fans as the white goes really well with the case color and these fans also have rear LED rings so there is no compromise on LED visibility whether I install them as intake or exhaust. what about pace Same as Meshify. CPU temp idle 30, full load 60. GPU lock temp when playing graphics intensive games like GOW5 is 70-80s. Nice. I LOVE the GPU BRACKET! My Sapphire Impulse GPU is quite long and has a bit of headroom. I used a GPU stand in Meshify but found I couldn't use the stand on the O11 XL as the bottom fans would get in the way. However, Lian Li has thought of everything and included a GPU mount that can support up to 2 GPUs. When assembling it, I noticed that the instructions recommend putting the bracket on the 2MB mounting screws to the left of the right edge. However, the heatsink of my MB PCH was too thick. No problem, I just installed the mount on the two extreme mounting points and it just cleared my SSD ports and works great! The GPU is good and smooth. This case is so well made that the DB values are fairly low with all 10 fans running and there is more than enough airflow for reasonable temperatures in both the standby and full load stress tests. Almost no different than the Meshify C's open front. Overall, am I glad I have this case? HELL YES I AM. It looks great, works great and has all the features and functionality I need now and in the future. I definitely recommend it!
