Works as intended for plugs and adapters
I got tired of resetting managed switches when employees at work were connecting unmanaged switches downstream and creating conditions for the managed switch to close the port had to protect the network. Now I have RJ45 locks all pointing to a dot and unused ports on the managed switch are closed. Unmanaged switches are no longer used in this area. People may be mad at me, but they have a reliable network connection.
