Tames the wind and cold while waiting for the bus. It's thin enough that my kid can put it in his backpack on the way home when it's no longer cold. He loves the color red and remains his perfect red. I think it's good. The lining is soft, he hasn't complained about itching or anything like that. I think it would be nice to spend a day in the park or go for another walk in the fall to get rid of the cold without overheating.
