Review on πŸ”Œ NetDot Magnetic Charging Cable, Gen10 Nylon Braided Magnetic Phone Charger for USB-C and Micro USB Devices and Phones (1ft/3 Pack, Red) by Andrew Arneson

Love them except for the headphones but keep them clean

Excellent quality cable, nice durable material on the cable jacket and the magnetic grip is stronger than you might expect. I like the idea of leaving the adapter in the devices as the most common reason I've had to replace a phone was because the USB port was worn out or broken. The connector's oval shape is quite narrow, so it fits in my phone even with a great phone case. I was concerned that some of the large round connectors would not work with the case. I ran into two problems: 1) I put a USB-C adapter in my Samsung phone and a Micro-B adapter in my Plantronics headset, which seemed like the perfect combination of the two adapters. However, everyone I spoke to on the phone complained that I had terrible audio, tearing, static, etc. It turned out that the magnet in the adapter had a negative impact on the Plantonics Bluetooth headset, so I no longer had to use it for this. . The phone works great. It might have been a better design if only the cable was magnetic and the adapter was plain steel, but instead both adapter and cable are magnetic (probably giving a stronger magnetic connection), but electronics like headsets will suffer. 2) If you use it in a car and the magnetic cable falls to the ground, it can pick up tiny magnetic pebbles which then get stuck in the connector and then become almost impossible to remove. I was shocked that I would have magnet stones in my car, but of course the tiny bits of dirt and sand on the floor mat in the car are obviously magnetic.
