If you have a wide foot, look elsewhere, learn from my mistake. I rarely write reviews, I hope this helps others. I've been following other downsizing reviews and the 11.5 Wide I ordered is actually a 12 in length but the width is nowhere near matching (appears to be a narrow D). They look good with quality leather, are light weight and trendy so I try hard to make them work but for now they are uncomfortable to wear. The insoles are very thick and comfortable so I replaced them with thinner ones from my Merrell Ventilator Wide. Insoles that have helped somewhat, but still can't be worn around the house for more than a few hours at a time. I feel like after wearing it around the house for over 8 hours with wet skin in hard to reach places and adding used insoles I would never have tried to return them. In further attempts to carry them further, we will try a stretcher for shoes. I'm afraid this will result in a "flat tire". PHOTO: Shoe I wear most often for size comparison (Keen, Florsheim, Birk, Ariat, Nike). They are all 12 WIDE except for the standard width Birkenstocks which fit my foot best. VIDEO: Even with thinner insoles, my foot protrudes beyond the sole under pressure. very uncomfortable. Long story short, I wasted $100.
