The dogs really like the new cover for the dog beds! I put a cover on as I want the beds to last longer. We run a small doggie boarding business, so have a lot of dogs laying on the beds and I wash them frequently. So far the covers. Have held up well. I think being sure to wash them gentle and cold water and dry air fluff will do the trick. I got the larger size so they fit easily over the beds. I got 3 of the covers and the dogs lay on the beds they are on first (before they lay on the beds with other covers). They are fairly thin and I'm not sure if you have a chewer they would hold up, but haven't had that problem.
