Review on ⚙️ RAM Mounts RAM-B-367U Motorcycle Handlebar Clamp Base: Convenient Attachment with M8 Bolts & B Size 1" Ball by Michael Welborn

The item arrived in perfect condition. When I opened it up none of the screws fit. The RAM had a shape problem and the product was deformed. I could send it back or get a Dremel tool. Half an hour of fit checking, grinding, passport checking, etc. and I have a working Ram mount. I never tried to return it and I didn't complain. I'm actually a bit impressed with such a good design that's a bit off the mark. The ball itself is a solid piece of rubber-coated aluminum. I was a specialist workshop employee and from time to time we had "slightly wrong" castings and stampings. I suspect this was thrown/strained during machining/stamping as there was some strain on the metal at the very end, but not at the bolt hole or the outer surface. It wasn't much, but with tight tolerances it takes little. I ended up just opening up the top hole a bit (where the head of the hex bolt should be fully countersunk). I was actually able to get it to work, but it was related to what I will blame myself for in the future. I was in a rush otherwise I would have sent it back. Now there is no need. I doubt you can say they worked on it.
