It seems time will tell.
If you're not good at quick soldering of copper tubing, I would recommend using PVC and making sure you seal the junction properly with teflon tape. can soften and melt, if you are a DIYer and don't know how to solder pipes I would recommend hiring a certified professional plumber. I will take a look and see what the results are like weeks or months after installing this new water filter today November 17th 2020. Also make sure you tighten this properly the first time you use it if there is no water spurting out of the seal if the unit is under high pressure and you will need to tighten it with the tool provided to stop any leaks avoid.
- 1" NPT PORT - BB water filter housing with 1" NPT thread. Depending on the quality of the water, you can choose a sump filter, carbon water filter, etc. to install the whole water filtration system in the house by yourself.
