Review on 🎀 Hola! Music Mic Stand: Adjustable Height for Home, Studio, Office or Stage - Standard Clutch Single Unit by Elizabeth Moore

Price and weight advantage.

Not a professional musician. I'm building a small studio with expensive entry-level stuff, but I don't buy top-of-the-line gear as all gear comes from my daily paycheck. I checked out some big music stores. Checked online and has a range of photographic equipment / tripods, light stands etc and industrial maintenance heavy equipment experience from another life. Conclusion: You won't find a better microphone stand in this price range. They are very comfortable for holding my heavy, I believe 3 pound mics on the end of the boom extension if you remember to put your foot under the boom. The bottom legs block the bottom of the stand when you slide them out. The long tie rod on the boom angle works great. The height adjustment is very useful. Has a 3/8 16 thread on the end with a 5/8 adapter. The only counter I've seen in a general store that's anywhere near that tall has a retail price of $59. This one is way better than that one. On the other hand, I'm about 6ft 180lbs tall. I was able to unscrew the threads on the settings by hand and had a reserve of power. I could bend the arrow poles, but that would take more strength than the rails. It "bounces" when you hit the mic when it's extended, and it's "locked" as it lacks the rigidity of anything more substantial. Not crazy bouncing, but a little bit of mic bouncing. It's a good stand, but a light stand that could have the tracks a little cleaner. So if you know how to use your gear, they should be great for you. If you were expecting something like an old-school stainless steel mic stand that weighs 20 pounds and has the appropriate strength and durability for something this heavy, look elsewhere.
