Will hold my heavy mic (but not forever)

update late Q3 2021. The rubber parts that hold the stem and keep the mic where it's supposed to wear out almost 3 years later. Hola Music does not sell or offer aftermarket parts, although I emailed them and never got a reply. For the price, it's still a pretty good deal, even if it means replacing the whole thing every 2.5 years. More expensive options are about 2-3 times more expensive than this one, around $30. The top screw also broke off when the pads ended up falling apart, but that may…

This seller's customer service was exemplary. They responded immediately when I contacted them and solved my problems perfectly. I would not hesitate to buy from them again and would recommend them to anyone considering doing business with them. Please note: It was not clear from the product description that this is actually a non-standard (US) threaded stand with the included 5/8 thread adapter required for use with US mic clamps. I have been making music for 30 years and have had many microphone stands. Some are better than others and some are more expensive than others. The old adage "you get what you pay for" is generally true, but every once in a while, amazing offers come along that you absolutely can't refuse. This is one of them! Not a professional musician. I'm building a small studio with expensive entry-level stuff, but I don't buy top-of-the-line gear as all gear comes from my daily paycheck.
