I installed this on my 13,500 btu air conditioner and then spent 5 days at my son's house plugging my camper into a standard 20 amp outlet (very few homes have a standard 30 amp outlet). RV outlet with booster if you don't install one). I turned on the AC, microwave and everything because the AC didn't turn off the circuit when the AC turned on. I even bought a 2350w inverter generator that ran on AC in a pre-ride test, but I never had to run AC with the generator during an actual ride. It was easy to install (a little electrical experience required) and worked for a week while I was using it. I assume it will continue to work as advertised.
