There were doubts, but it works as promised.
Metal buckles put a strain on the skin in summer, so I use plastic buckles. My last belt had a "pull and tighten" loop that was difficult to get right. I've found that I prefer the ones that you install and then pin. The snap system works very well, easy to attach and easy to remove. You must remove the buckle to thread the belt through several smaller loops. It's not a problem for me, I'm old school and wear pants/shorts until they need a wash, which is usually a couple of days or so.
