very nice hood. What makes the Zoo Med better than similar models (Exo Terra) are the 2 switches on this one. So you can turn on both bulbs or just one or the other right from the hood. Similar ones (Exo Terra) only have 1 switch that turns on both outlets. Weak. (I don't hate Exo Terra, I have an Exo Terra 18x18x24 terrarium and like the double doors better than the single door Zoo Med 18x18x24. I also like their bamboo feeding tongs.) So anyway, if you don't love terrariums, I would recommend this hood take :D
