Gives you a boost of energy 10-15 minutes after consumption. Decent taste and texture. They don't crumble or make a mess when you bite into them. As mentioned, they provide 20g of protein. I got a box of 15 and after eating one or two a day they lose their appeal, still good but since you don't want to eat chicken for dinner every night it would probably be nice to have several alternatives and to mix them. I'll order them again, but I'll probably try several others in the meantime. All in all a good deal as my price was $1.16 per bar.
