Review on Enhanced Performance Lincoln II Plus 10/12 Meter Ham Radio by Ben Balas

Poor modulation and very poor reception with strong local signals. I have a very small President Ronald radio that is much better than this Lincoln. The disadvantage of Ronald is that he has no sideband. But I tested this Lincoln side-by-side with my Ronald and this Lincoln goes in the bin. I promise you this is a far cry from the radio that is President Ronald. If you have a very close strong station, this President Lincoln will turn it off and cut reception where you cannot hear its signal. The digital display shows a strong signal but you hear no sound. No combination of noise limiter, squelch, high cut or anything else will let this powerful signal through. You have to interrupt your game reception to get this strong signal. And then you won't hear either middle or distant stations. All transmission reports said I had very bad modulation. Roger's beep was louder than my voice. When I finally turned Lincoln off and President Ronald on, everyone breathed a sigh of relief and said I was finally back. This radio is rubbish in my opinion compared to Ronald. TO UPDATE:.
