Economical and works well, but there is a downside.
The ribs on the side of the grill are too small, as is the reservoir for cooking juices. I got hot juice on my fingers removing cooked meat from the microwave the first time I used it to cook pork loin. It also resulted in a fairly extensive cleaning of the inside of the microwave and counter. I solved this problem by putting 2-3 layers of paper towels under the meat before cooking, but the manufacturer has to change the ribs and depth of the grill side tank to be 3 times larger. I didn't use the flat side for a date.
