Pros: Excellent sound quality. A future update is already available on this device. Cons: Only one trigger cable output. The Audyssey setting always leads to phase errors with certain speaker types. It is not possible to save previous Audyssey settings and any result will be overwritten. I wonder if the Audyssey 32 has any downsides. The main disadvantage of this device is that if you use an external amplifier for say 5 channels, you cannot turn off the internal amplification. and no information from Denon on using an external amplifier for amp mode. Set the value to less than 11.2. Using 9.2A or 7.2A mode does NOT disable Denon's internal gain, which in turn cannot be used to maximize other channels driven by the preamp. The rep should answer this confusion about how users can use a 7.2 or 9.2 setting and still allocate unused Denon internal gain for use in channels not driven by an external amplifier. Overall I think this receiver is definitely worth the money and probably the best receiver you can buy for the best receivers of 2019.
