Like Butter In-Ear Headphones

Longtime music lover and over the last 3 years I have more and more abandoned my living room setup in favor of quality headphones. I started out with closed-back headphones for work etc, but some life changes have made it possible to listen to open-ear headphones without fear of disturbing anyone nearby. It never occurred to me to invest that amount in headphones. How can a set of lenses match the quality of my full size rig? Also, headphones can be easily hit and damaged, right? Why would I throw away +$1,000 on something that won't last? Well my friends these HiFiman Aryas have got my head spinning. I am absolutely stunned by these banks. Arya *expands* just like my WATT/Puppy speakers. I can hear the air around the instruments. I can feel the breath between the notes of the singer. The plucked strings vibrate with pomp and detail. Remember that while they make great recordings shine and you hear new things in songs you think you've heard 1000 times, they don't make great recordings sound exactly the way they are. The sound stage is big. , not huge, but that's okay - he never sacrifices his ability to express power and musicality. And lots of talk about the picture - man, oh man, I can hear the space between the *strings* on the guitar. Arya is so damn good. Cons: Yeah, okay, you can argue that it doesn't look like a tank, but if you buy a bunch of cans for +$1k, you're not going to stuff it in your backpack and skateboard, are you? You flaunt it and take care of this thing. I would say they are pretty good in terms of build quality. Tough as a featherweight boxer. They feel light and comfortable. There's no way I want to put this Audeze LCD-X metal case on my skull and think I'll be fine for a few hours. No, Aryas do not tire your ears and do not wear themselves on your head. Headphones I have: - PSB M4U1 - Hifiman HE400i - Ora Graphene Living Room Setup: - Wilson Audio WATT/Puppy - Mark Levinson components
