This little dashboard mount is exactly what I was looking for. I originally intended to throw it in my travel bag, but when I received it I decided it was too heavy and a little bulky to fit in my carry-on. With an opening of about 4.25 inches, it easily fits in my Garmin GPS or iPhone 6s plus (plus my case!). It doesn't interfere with the plug on any device. And there are three top slots and two bottom slots, regardless of the phone size or GPS you have. The grip is firm so the phone/GPS doesn't slip into the device at all. I was concerned it might hit my phone where the volume buttons are, but that's not a problem either. The only problem I have is that one of our cars slides on the dashboard. I don't know who designed my car's dashboard, but it's quite tilted so the sticky part on the bottom doesn't come into contact with most of the dashboard. I can't move it too far forward or it won't be strong. And the non-sticky bottom part doesn't stick when I twist hard. However, I like this block enough to find something that creates some stickiness (either a piece of sticky stuff for phones or things sold in stores to protect your glassware/pans/glassware. And in On our other machine, it works exactly as it should!
