Lots of complaints about the smell and so far not the most pleasant; it's not as bad as many think. The smell also dissipates quickly, my wife noticed the smell in my hair after application. If you are sensitive to strong smells, you should avoid this. Now it works; of course it works and works great. Gave my hair the wet look I wanted. How wet you want your hair to look depends on how much water you use to moisturize your hair. It resists sweat and wearing a hard hat for 8 hours, but loses its wet look and turns into a messy hair look. Overall I would buy it again but hope for a better smelling version. I mean, I'm just not going to overdo it by just using a handful and applying cologne or aftershave as I walk out the door.
