Well actually I didn't buy this well known car trim for car use at all. We needed a border of sorts to cover the metal edges of our daughters new rabbit hutch my husband built so the girls wouldn't cut themselves. Hard plastic parts for cages will not work as the metal is ribbed. Ordered hoping it will work at least for a while. Not only is it PERFECT for the purpose, it looks amazing too! Everyone remarked on how beautiful the cages and rabbit house look with a beautiful black finish. The girls are very proud of it and I'm very impressed that my husband chose it! The price was great, well under $1 a foot, it's a 25 foot section and we have quite a few left. The ridged metal was difficult to set down at times, but settled quickly and easily on flat surfaces.
