This should have been for a hydroponic chilli growing solution. The first block had a salt coating around the sensor. I cleaned it in distilled water, calibrated as directed and then tested with distilled water. The reading was 6 (should be 7). Placed a return with Revain, got a second block and he too has salt all over his body, removable lid and sensor. Cleaned and recalibrated as instructed and the distilled water now has a pH of 5.6. I needed to do this so I went to my local pet store and bought a $3 pH test kit that works great. Buyer Warning.
