I've been waiting to write this review because I'm a leather snob and I'm more into bags than cars so I had to wait a bit. I just threw away a $400 Michael Kors Hamilton shopper that was the same lovely caramel color as Hermes as was this Covelin bag which I'm reviewing because as much as I love it and we all know we like it , when everyone else is admiring our bags . - I hated it. It weighed about 75 pounds and because of the price I was afraid of rain, nails, pens, little kids, everything. I switched to an "affordable" bag that goes against everything I believe in, which was cute, got lots of compliments, polka dots, bold colors and bold shapes, and everything about it didn't represent me in the slightest. Wearing faux leather made me physically ill. So I ventured into a company I had never heard of and had two requirements: natural leather in a neutral off-season color that I could wear with black or brown, although I only wear black but dare to dream. I also wanted to have a few good coves but not too many to keep catching fish. I needed strong handles that couldn't be "loosened" from the bucket and I wanted it to have some sort of closure, preferably a strong, well-made, smooth zipper so I can close the top of the bag when I need it have done. I don't want it to be open to the whole world when I go shopping and get distracted by chocolate tasting. To be honest, mission accomplished. Kovelin, you have justified my expectations. Your price does not let me live in fear and you have pleasantly surprised me with your quality, which is not easy as I am a very arrogant wallet snob. That's my only indulgence, and carrying a bag that isn't immediately recognized or envied is outside of my comfort zone, which is why you broke me and I thank you for it. I want to be your representative.
