Review on 👕 John Boyne Boys' Striped Pajamas for Boys' Clothing by Hurst Batiste

The story itself isn't bad, but it was written for young people who wouldn't understand what the book is about without guidance. I read the book long before I realized "Fury" was "Fuhrer (Hitler)" and got even further before realizing that "Out With" was "Auschwitz" was. Neither the term was ever clarified, nor was the purpose of the camp explained. And the tragic ending would mean absolutely nothing to the young reader. I have no idea why a book should be written for young readers in a form they cannot understand. For this reason I give two stars.
