Review on CECO-USA 20 Function Bicycle Multi Tool with Chain Breaker – Heavy Duty Bike Tool – Compact & Lightweight – High Strength CR-V 6150 Tool Steel – Easy To Carry by Ken Beasom

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Chain tool is not price versatile, advertising is misleading

Pros: Quality feel, good standard range of basic hex tools. Cons: Very limited chain tool. Bad support. overpriced. The knitting tool is something of a symbolic joke. Chain speed wasn't clear on Revain's listing and for the price I assumed it would work with both single speed and multi-speed chains such as the high quality $17 Park Tool chain tool or my cheap Bell Chain tool might work on a budget of $5 (which I still use). due to this CECO design limitation) both are more versatile than this CECO chain tool. Some e-bikes require both single-speed and multi-speed chain breakers. CECO's support was unhelpful, actually drove me in circles, wasted my time and made me think they supported me (more than one person with conflicting processes) so I missed my return window. I need to make my own grub screw so it will work with both single chain and multi chain tools. Yes, just a few threads are enough to transform the design into something more useful. The company would not provide a replacement threaded pin that I could modify to make their product work for me. Overall, I cannot recommend the product due to the poor functional design, hidden specs, and poor support.
