I had to replace my AipTek camera which I loved using for ten years and then it "died". I knew it was discontinued but decided to buy it anyway. Imagine my surprise when I opened the box containing the camera and found that the plastic "shelf" holding the camera body had split. What was my surprise when I opened the camera and the batteries were old, had leaked and it was clear someone had returned them. So, I bought new batteries, they fit (unlike the Vivitar) but when I pressed the "on" button there is no power indicator. The wrist grip was also already attached; this is not the case with a completely NEW product. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
