November 23, 2017 So far so good! For several months. I bought two sets and used four lamps under one rack and two under the other, well, four - two on each side of the microwave hood with an extension in between. This involved drilling holes in the cabinets at the corners, then through the sides of the cabinets and through the microwave (which I removed to have room to drill properly and put the rubber pads in the holes) and I ended up with, to disassemble the plug connections make the holes smaller and I think I had to splice a wire I bought with a 36" extension and steal a few inches from one of the power cords. Now we can actually see under the cabinets. for the prep work! Update 02/24/2020 All LED chips still work fine, they are used quite often as I have them near the front edge of cabinets and they really light up the countertop.
