This item is sold as a booster seat/car seat but cannot be used as a booster seat as it does not have a hard base for the dog or to continue driving. It's more like a dog bed that has to ride in a car seat and can be attached to the seat to keep it in place. If you try to use/install it as a booster seat over the top of a car seat and put your dog in it, the dog will drown in it, just like a bowling ball falling in the middle of a blanket. Not only is this obviously uncomfortable for the dog, but it is also unsafe and useless. This item does not match the description and should not be used as a pet booster seat.
