Bought a new MicroSD Samsung EVO 512GB for my GoPro. With this reader I get read speeds of 19MB/s on my Digital Storm Video workstation (ie the fastest desktop technology). With two other brand readers that I bought at the same time, I get 90+ MB/s. Too slow. I bought two of these, one on March 30, 2021 and the other on April 8, 2021. Both are slower than before in the evaluation. Then I immediately switched the MicroSD card to uni SD Card Reader and then to the old Saicoo USB3.0 4 which I bought on July 21, 2018. Both read/transfer data at a speed of 90MB/s. Tested on another fast desktop in my office with the same results. CONS: Transfer speed listed does NOT apply to MicroSD read/transfer speeds on Windows systems.
