It didn't take long for me. While it works well, the remote is responsive. The colors are bright and beautiful. I just wish the tripod was taller. I have no choice but to use a tripod. I have an Apple screen type, thick and curved on the back, so unfortunately I can't use the supplied component to put a light on the top of the monitor :(. Anyway, I highly recommend this light if you want to dress up your playroom /office to make it look cute.
