Update: I will no longer buy this brand.

Update: Update: One of our lightbulbs has stopped working and should be covered by the warranty on that lightbulb. I contacted Sengled and they sent me detailed instructions on how to reset/reconnect the bulbs to our hub. (I've done these steps several times before, but I repeated the process one more time to be thorough.) We found that the bulb was defective and they said they would replace the bulb. But a few months have passed and a replacement has not been sent. I will not buy lamps from this company again. They are untrustworthy and will not keep their word. _____________________________ To do this you need an extra socket or buy a kit that includes a socket + bulbs. We bought Sengled's "Starter Kit" for customization and additional bulbs like this kit to add more to the hub. Visit the Sengled website for more information on customizing smart light bulbs. We use Google Home. We have both Philips Hue lamps and Sengled lamps. We use Sengled bulbs in places where we need a simple on/off/dimming function - nothing special. If you want your lamps to perform creative functions, e.g. B. syncing to music, I recommend using Philips Hue for that. Pros: Bright and attractive light is tiny! The cost is lower than some other brands. Cons: I feel like my Philips Hue lights were a bit more intuitive to set up. Sangled app. Overall I would recommend these bulbs for basic lighting conditions! They're a great budget option that delivers nice bright light. They seem to be responding well to our home system. In addition, the white Sengled bulbs are just as bright as the white Philips bulbs - at least that's how it seems in our living room.

Pros
  • Have fun
Cons
  • No work
