For many years I was afraid to clean the tray. This is the worst! Then I started putting big garbage bags on top of the box, thinking I could just take it off if it needed changing. Not correct. "Fight" is the best description. It was so awkward pulling the pouch down inch by inch when the contents of the pen were inches from my face! Pooh! I just came across Johnny Cat packs while searching online for fillers. And now I make sure I have supplies - they SOLVE the litter box cleaning problem. The jumbo is perfect for my cat box and after a few days of scooping all I have to do is pull the handle and close the bag and that's it! The box is fresh and clean. I put the bag in a large garbage bag before throwing it away. I wish I had known about these bags years ago - it would have saved me a lot of trouble!
