Extremely light weight. Someone might run into him and confuse him, including your dog. Just adjusting the covers on the bed can confuse this thing. This creates a gap between the ladder and the bed for the dog to fall into. Overall it's not very durable and my dog isn't comfortable with it even when properly installed. They had to build in a weight system or design some sort of feature that would really hold it in place. It is unusable in its current form and now lies disassembled in the corner of the room. A complete waste of money.
