iPhone heats up when charging

Charging power is too high. I got this so I can put my phone on my desk while using my phone for video conferencing. My iPhone got very hot (not while on the phone, only while sitting). When it came time to make a call, the phone was so hot it started to shine. I no longer use it for charging, only as a stand.

Pros
