This durable water bottle has a sturdy cap with a handle and straw. But unfortunately the straw consists of 3 parts: the mouthpiece, the main part of the straw and a removable flexible silicone patch at the end of the straw. I didn't realize that the straw's mouthpiece on the cap can be removed and that you can't cap a bottle with the straw attached. The mouthpiece is made of hard plastic and to screw the cap on you need to push the mouthpiece down so that the entire straw and mouthpiece are inside the bottle. That means you have to swap out the mouthpiece every time you want to drink. Even the straw with all 3 parts does not reach the bottom of the bottle. I think it's fine if you leave it on your desk all day - it's fine for that - but not for people who like to keep bottle caps on when they're out and about to keep germs and dirt out. I had to return this, not what I expected and it just doesn't work for what I need.
