This was a very useful tool to find peace of mind! I managed to find and remove a GPS tracker that a creepy weirdo I was dating installed on my car. I knew it was there by putting two and two together, but I couldn't find it visually or 'touch'. Not having the confidence, I ordered an Anti Spy Bug Detector in hopes of finding the tracker (and other monitors) myself and avoiding having to go to a professional ($250+). I did a lot of research before making this purchase. Unless you're technically or technically addicted like me, the first thing you'll need to do is read the detailed instructions multiple times. There are several ways to find different spy and GPS trackers, so I suggest doing this if you have enough time and patience for some trial and error. Good news: with my son's help, I finally found the tracker! My first attempt was in an urban area where there was too much radio frequency and interference to get anything. However, I learned from Auto Scan Detector that my car definitely had a GPS tracker installed (and not just my paranoia). On the second try, as instructed in the instructions, I went out of town to an area with fewer radio frequencies. Frequencies, interference etc. My 20 year old son accompanied me on this tour and it was very helpful to have a second pair of eyes and ears to register information, check things etc and read directions. As we drove out of town, we found that RF transmissions were occurring every 30 seconds, which was detected by the RF detector while the vehicle was in motion. When we got to our destination we checked a few things and finally used the magnetic field detector to find the tracker hidden in a magnetic box that was very hidden on the underside of the chassis. My son had to get quite far under the car with a flashlight to turn it off. Finding and removing the tracker by myself was a real pleasure, so it was worth it! .), I decided to check my house. Naturally! There was a small device attached to the edge of my desk that connected to my internet. Who does it? It's so stressful when your privacy is violated like that. So I was delighted with this purchase including the camera detector! I was dying to find more camera rigs in case I missed something as I tore my house apart after finding the first rig. I didn't find any additional devices, but that would be helpful. You must be patient in your search. I suggest trying a device that you know is a hidden camera to see what you are looking for. The product arrived just as quickly. Now that mini cameras and GPS trackers are so cheap, ubiquitous, and easy to hide, it's good to know that there are devices that protect your privacy.
