I would give 0 stars if I could. I bought this mattress pad for my 3 year old daughter's king bed and double bed when we moved into our new home in late January last year. This was my daughter's first "big girls bed" and since she had just stopped pulling herself up at night we needed a really good piss resistant pillow. We moved into the house 5 months ago and only washed the pillow when it had an accident (3 times). Well she had her fourth accident last night and somehow pee got right through the padding onto her 5 month old $800 mattress! There is literally a urine stain nearly 2 feet across. Just hung up on customer service and apparently if you tumble dry ABOVE 130 C the pad becomes unusable and doesn't work. I asked where it was mentioned as there were no warnings on the label just washing instructions and apparently on the instructions no one reads (since this is a mattress topper not a high tech device) and put in the package. . Conclusion: If drying a mattress pad three times on the perm is considered ineffective, then this is garbage and should not be sold. Now I have to ship my junk mattress topper (out of my own pocket), wait for them to inspect it and then if it's found to be 'defective' they pay to steam clean my mattress if they find that they also dried high temperature is considered ineffective, so this is my problem. It's a joke, just like this product. WATCH OUT!
