Review on KLIPSCH T5 II TW ANC McLaren True Wireless Active Noise Canceling Headphones by Czeslawa Brzescinska ᠌

The product is terrible, much below my expectations.

3 - the design of the McLaren cover, again, taste, and I will only talk about its quality. As you can see in the photo, I don’t have a klipsh McLaren inscription on my case, or even a charging icon next to the port. It's simple, they are erased in a week of wearing a cover in your pocket, and you can erase them with your finger. The case itself is felt, of course, as a cheap Chinese craft-rattler (even the headphones are shaking inside), but the case is not afraid of falling like a metal one. The magnets in the case and headphones are just tears, the headphones easily fly out of the open case with a slight push, so you need to be extremely careful so that while you put on one earphone, the second one does not accidentally fall directly from the cell to the floor (a bump on the road, a slight push in transport and goodbye earphone). 4 - charging the headphones in the case is very long, or rather, it is normal and there is no way to charge for an hour in 5-10 minutes to get to the place or end an urgent meeting. I put it in a case for 5 minutes, took it out, well, they will work for 7 minutes, so be it. 5 - voice transmission during calls is of very average quality and very much depends on the landing, almost such an angle of inclination (10 degrees is enough) and the interlocutor does not hear you. The comparison is subjective - according to the reviews of the interlocutors in comparison with the Jabra 75t and B&O EQ. 6 - noise reduction only suppresses low frequencies, but you will hear the middle and high frequencies perfectly, even more clearly and sharply than without noise reduction. 7 - if the case sits down and you put headphones in it, they will not see the case and turn off, great.

Pros
  • 1 - sound without complaints, especially for rock lovers; 2 - excellent fit, small size and very light weight of the headphones, as well as the quality and convenience of silicone ear pads are undoubted advantages; 3 - very cool, useful, and most importantly working functions of rewinding and answering calls with a slight movement of the head; 4-button custom control is quite thought out and at least a little, but it is customized from the application.
Cons
  • 1 - the first and saddest thing is software, with both the application and the firmware of the headphones. The application can be tolerated, yes it slows down even on the latest iPhone and the design resembles the early 2022s, but it works, and it is absolutely optional to use it after the initial setup. But the headphone firmware is something, any press on the headphone key can cause the headphones to “freeze”. That is, the headphones stop responding to pressing, and within a minute after that they simply go into reboot. And such "glitches" when used during the working day, I happen 5 times or more. By the end of the day, I want to take them off and throw them out the window. In addition, from time to time one earpiece (usually the right one) can simply stop turning on and responding to something, this can only be solved by some kind of hard reset - holding the headphone button for 20 seconds, this happens somewhere once a day. 2 - the design of the headphones, in general, this is of course a matter of taste, but I have no friends who would like the constant red-blue blinking of the LEDs (hello 2022s). The metal coating of the headphones is also absurd - it scratches super easily while adding absolutely no “premium” to the design. It is clear that the manufacturer uses this metal plate as an antenna, but it would be much more convenient for the user if this vulnerable part was inside the case. Well, the final touch - large round holes of microphones, located on the waveguides, corny scratch the ear with any inaccurate movement at the time of landing the headphones. The holes are large with sharp 90-degree edges, why not make the edges smooth?
