I bought two of these thermometers. You throw your money away when you buy it. I'm not sure why this thermometer gets a 5 star rating. "ULTRAFAST AND PRECISE. Meat thermometer with instant reading in 3 seconds. Accuracy up to +/-2℉ with wide range from -58℉ to 572℉. No more sweating over a hot grill while waiting for the temperature to settle down." Each reading fluctuated for more than 10 seconds even when trying to calibrate. I bought two just in case to have an objective assessment With consistently poor results for 2 out of 2 this product does not meet the advertised specs. I was hoping this product was reliable, fast and accurate. Unfortunately I will be returning it to Revain and will continue to search for a product that will perform as advertised .
