You can fix the hum pretty cheaply

I, like the other people in these reviews, have bought so many of these cables that seem to have the same problem. It may work at first, but then the left ear will eventually fall off if you don't place it in the right spot. Then when you breathe, it turns off again. After some fiddling, I came to the conclusion that these audio cables don't ground the microphone portion of the 3.5mm jack. The problem is that all the cables I've bought here do the same thing. This is how I was able to solve this problem with all my cables with all my mic headphones with a simple 90* adapter: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GBN37WW?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share I'm not an engineer just a frustrated dude. But I suspect they are grounding the microphone part and sending the correct signals to the extension cord. If for some reason you don't want to use the ones in the link, make sure you have a men's size with *2 black stripes*. If you have an adapter, one will give you a mono signal and three will solve the same microphone problem. The 90* connection actually turns out to be good because this cable is so heavy that it can relieve some of the structural stresses. Hope that helps. some people. It drove me crazy as I like to walk around the room with headphones on. I gave it one star because not having a platform that works all the time seems pretty unreasonable when headphones with mics are everywhere.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Modern
