Open: Furniture

We have things that we carry back and forth from the living room to the bedroom because our baby sleeps with us and we don't have a cot. Bathroom. We just use it as a docking station for them when we need to shower or go to the bathroom, or when I'm cooking and doing laundry etc. We decided it would be nice to have one in the living room and one in the living room. bedroom just to make things easier. As I searched I realized that since it would be stationary it might be better to get a real game pin as it will start to crawl. Thing is pretty much perfect. It's been moving and dangling in it since I assembled it. Pro's is an oriental construction, big enough to actually move, not so big that it takes up the entire living room, light and easy to move around the room, easy to see and can see us through the net. Cons: too big to go from room to room through a door (needs to be dismantled), the fabric is like a camping tent which is a bit scratchy (we only ordered foam squares to put on the ground), it is sturdy, but it definitely won't hold baby trying to get out (these are just metal bars attached with pieces of plastic and covered with a thin cloth). Basically it works for what we needed it for, but I don't see it as a long-term solution for protecting them while we do chores around the house. We'll see once she's big enough to hang on her sides and try to get out. but she is only 4 months old so we have time.
