Super fun set! magnifying glass. Reading other kit reviews people get "filler stones" aka pebbles but I didn't see them in this kit which was nice. Lots of bricks and have fun sorting! I'm not sure if we got carnelian or lemon jade like the mat suggests, but we got a few extra stones, faux turquoise (aka dyed howlite), peachy moonstone, and moss agate. Great that it comes with an extra pocket for kids to store their favorite things. Thus, all fossils and minerals were contained on the mat. All in all I think it's definitely worth the money for a budding geologist or even just an adult - you'll get a lot of stones for a lot less than if you buy honestly from a store.
