This is a comprehensive review from a professional's perspective. Here is my take on this light set. This light is very bright! even 1% with a softbox. It's in a very small form factor, similar to a Forza 60, and the fan is quiet compared to some of my other high output flashlights that I boast about. It has a good CCT range of 2800k-8500k with 5600k right in the middle. For some reason 6400k is actually brighter than the 5600k setting. This light also has a fanless mode. It has a mode button to switch between CCT mode and Effect mode. It has 12 built-in effects that you can control through the app and the lantern, including campfire and camera flash modes. It also comes with an included remote control to control the light. It comes with 2 x NPF 970 batteries with USB-C charging connectors (cables included) and a battery level indicator on the batteries and battery mount. I really like the design of the battery holder as it screws right into the side of the flashlight (I haven't seen this design from any other company), but this design has one possible downside: the battery eject button is between the two batteries. and can be a little awkward to reach if you need to remove the battery (especially if you have big hands). This kit also includes a pistol grip to keep the light handy when you need to be mobile. Now to the soft box. This is not a traditional sized Bowen softbox, but a Weeylite proprietary mini mount so it only fits this flashlight. If you want to use larger mods or traditional Bowens accessories, you'll have to wait for Weeylite to come out with their own adapter (I can confirm the Forza 60 adapter will fit this light, but it does NOT block). The softbox contains 2 diffusion layers which seem to spread the light well, although I wish they had a honeycomb grid to give you more control over the light spread. It's a quick opening softbox where you just pull the bars out and they snap in, seems quite rigid, although this softbox also has one design flaw (see video), has a latch button that sticks out very far on the back of the softbox to attach them so make sure the handle is pointing towards the bottom of the light, otherwise it will bump against the light itself and not snap into place. So keep that in mind. The included hyper-reflector works as it should, with no center hotspot, and the included carrying case is sturdy and should stand up to normal travel use. Overall I think this is a great kit for the money and there is no other that gives you as many features and accessories in this price range. I highly recommend it as a first light source or as an addition to an existing kit.
