Suitable for general users who like rainbows

I'm not a gamer. I play games sometimes, but not enough to qualify for this label. However, I do push my PC a bit towards art applications like the Adobe suite and Corel. I'm a big fan of the rainbow so the LED was a bonus for me but not the whole point. It cools well, but only when resting on the built-in legs. The fan is also not very strong and rotates a little. The design choice is a bit strange. It has a male-to-male USB connection cable, making it difficult to switch cables. I don't understand how it couldn't be done instead of the standard micro USB cable. The computer's battery is expected to run out of power, but this negates any cooling benefits. I have tested this and the heat generated by the device's power supply outperforms the cooling provided by the fans. Luckily, I had an adapter to be able to plug it into an outlet or outlet. The fan is also turned on with the volume knob. I'm not sure why, since the max setting is pretty weak it's the only setting you need to run it on. I would be less disappointed if my expectations were met with a simple switch. Changing the lighting mode is easy. Overall it does its job and looks good. This is a solid stand if she just wants to be a stand. I don't think the hardcore gamer will be happy with this. It's very close to being really good, but not quite there. But for an ordinary person, a solid four.

Pros
  • Ergonomic design
Cons
  • So far so good
