Review on DUKAL 4404S Tech Med Finger Nitrile by Jake Meyer

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not what I expected

Gave 3 stars because they do their job and are a good price. Unfortunately, I have found that the box I received is made of a very stiff material that does not easily unfold with a finger. I have small fingers but the opening is tight and leaves a ring of compression around my finger even though I only wear them for a minute or so while applying daily healing cream to my cat's ears. If I wear longer, my finger hurts. I'm not sure if I received a faulty batch or if they are always like this. UPDATE: Added a star after 4 months of daily use. Yes, they're stiffer than expected, but they're thicker than most. Does this provide better protection against ingesting my cat's thyroid cream through the material? I don't know, but I have a feeling they do. Yes, they are quite "tight" (above I used "tight" which is what I'm used to so I don't notice it anymore). This prevents them from falling off like other brands or being flipped over on your fingertip. They are neither the cheapest nor the most expensive from this supplier (although other suppliers are more expensive). They do NOT contain nitrile latex (which I need) unlike many others that contain latex or claim to be latex free when they aren't. I just ordered another box. They may not be perfect in terms of comfort, but I only wear them for a minute and they do what I need in a satisfying and affordable way. Will continue to use until another "true" latex-free comes along that I might prefer. If you have pinky fingers like me, go for the medium ones, which is what this review is for, and they fit me perfectly.
