This is a plug & play unit and was fairly simple to install. When powered up, it indicated an Er1 error code. I unplugged and re-plugged each connection several times and used Noalox to insure a good connection -- all to no avail. I re-installed the original controller and it worked like it was supposed to. Also, the circuit board on this unit is larger than the one on the original and I had to use a grinder to enlarge the hole so it would fit. I do not recommend purchasing this product.
