Review on Premium 1st Cut Timothy Hay for Viking Farmers by Nicole Fisher

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Farewell little pet!

FINALLY! Someone who can bet on what they are promoting. WHY is it so hard to find a GOOD Timothy? Well, Viking Farmer is here to help. You get what is described and you get what you pay for. This is the best hay I've ever seen. The absolute only negative I have for this guy, and that may be subjective, but as wonderful as the hay looks, I'm a bit concerned that the hay lacks its fresh "field" smell. In fact, there was literally no smell at all. As you wish. So I'm concerned that Vikimg Farmer might use a chemical bath to clean the hay and keep it fresh. I hope he sees this and responds. Maybe he can correct me. But never in 6 years have I had a hay order with so many seed heads. My bun loves it. She often eats it like she's chewing it, but I don't see her actually swallowing it. But I have a weird one, so I don't hold a grudge against her. Also in my box were tiny worms, almost the size of some kind of larva. I hope I can count on this rookie to deliver that quality all the time. I will order more, let's see what I get next. Even with these disadvantages, they still outperform the small pet by a mile. The little pet has deteriorated so much that I refuse to buy from them again. It seems that in each box there is more and more garbage, cut grass, dirt and just dust. The last order, I weighed the package and ordered another box of 20 pounds and at least 6 pounds was nothing but rubbish and dust. Don't worry if you see what appear to be tiny black slits on your seed heads, upon further examination under a microscope they appear to be just tiny flowers. At first glance this is strange, I used to have hay like this.
