Review on 🧽 Goddard’s Marble & Granite Polish: Ultimate Granite Cleaner and Polish with Carnauba Wax for Kitchen Island & Stone Surfaces - Sealer & Protectant (8 oz) by Laura Decker

Couldn't decide which one would be best for my needs based on the reviews so I ordered both on the theory that I could use Renaissance on other furniture as well. . The black marble top of an antique washbasin needed to be treated (see photo) which appeared 'dry' and faded. I used Renaissance wax on half of the surface, then applied a "stripe" of Goddard wax to the untreated half. Both looked a lot better as you can see. R. Wax gives a slightly higher shine, Goddard gives a softer shine. Both can be sanded off easily. I rubbed portions of both treated areas with a damp paper towel and R.Wax seemed a little more tarnish resistant with the wet towel. Renaissance Wax has a distinct chemical odor and should be used in a ventilated area (although the label doesn't say so); The smell will dissipate after 10-15 minutes. Goddard had almost no odor, applied like a lotion. As others have said, 200ml of R. Wax should (literally) last you a lifetime. Important to note: none of the products improved the appearance of dull stains, they just made them look like waxy dull stains. Guess I'll have to try Lustro Italiano Etch Remover on them.
