I bought them for jewelry I make myself. I mainly make necklaces and thought this would be perfect. No, that is not so. If the necklace chain is in the right place, the card cannot lie flat. The card actually needs a slot along with a hole at the end of the slot to fit the necklace chain. The hole in the postcard is for earrings. I also tried using this and of course it didn't work. Without them (the slit and the connected hole) it looks like you are sliding the chain of the necklace into place. If you're looking for an earrings display, this is it, but listing it as a necklace display is misleading and untrue.
