Yesterday I had the pleasure of watching my 2 year old grandson open these toys as a birthday present. The most remarkable thing is that there were many toys for everyone. The vehicles appear to be well made, with no small details to choke on. They are also small enough to take with you for entertainment in restaurants etc, but large enough for small children to easily handle. The kids were really excited, which of course made me feel like I hit a home run. Can't comment on durability yet (although they seem to be very durable) but based on initial feedback I would highly recommend them to all children in the 1-5 age group (I know my 5 year old grandson from another son). I still LOVE these toys
